Bulgur Pilaf with Turmeric – Practical Recipes

Bulgur Rice with Turmeric
- 2 cups coarse bulgur
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1.5 teaspoons of salt
- 2 spoonful butter
- Adjust the hot water according to your rice (usually 3.5 cups are enough for 2 cups)
Melt the butter in the saucepan. Wash and drain the bulgur thoroughly.
Put it in the pan and fry a little.
Add turmeric and salt and mix.
Add hot water and close the lid.
When it starts to boil, turn the stove down to low.
Cook until the water is absorbed. Cover the bottom and rest for 10 – 25 minutes.
