Fried Calamari – Kitchen Secrets – Practical Recipes

You can easily get it from many supermarkets. It will look very nice on your table when your heavy guests come in the evening.


250 gr Cleaned and chopped squid
1 glass of water Milk
1 cup of flour
Black pepper
Frying oil


After salting and peppering the cleaned and chopped squids, put them in a bowl.
Add enough milk to cover it and let it sit for two hours.
After removing it from the milk, dust it with flour.
Arrange on a floured tray.
Heat the oil in the pan.
Fry the calamari in hot oil until golden brown and place on a paper towel.
After leaving the excess oil, take it on a serving plate and serve with tarator sauce.

For the browser:

½ stale bread crumbs
½ cup walnut kernels
2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
½ lemon juice
½ cup of water
Red pepper


Put the chopped walnuts, soaked bread, lemon juice, garlic, water and red pepper in the food processor and mix until it reaches the consistency of yogurt. Put it in the sauce pan.
