Baked Homemade Yogurt

Yes, we will ferment yogurt in the oven and practically! Come on then..


  • 1 kg of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of yogurt


We boil the milk and pour it into the jar. When it comes to the fermentation temperature (if you can hold your finger for 10 seconds, it’s done), you take 1 tablespoon of yogurt from the milk that will be fermented and mix it, pour that mixture into the milk and mix it well with the help of a whisk.

We set the oven to 75 degrees and heat it. Turn off the oven and put the milk in the oven with the mouth open. We leave it for 4 hours, take it out of the oven, let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature and put it in the refrigerator.
