Lentil Meatballs Recipe

  • 1 cup fine bulgur
  • 2 cups red lentils
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato or pepper paste
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 pinch of parsley
  • 2 stalks of spring onions
  • Curly
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Lentil Meatballs Recipe and Preparation:

After the lentils are washed, they are cooked with 4 glasses of water until they become mushy. Sometimes this water is not enough. If so, you can add hot water. When the lentils are cooked, they are taken from the stove and 1 glass of fine bulgur is placed in it and left to swell. If the consistency is not as thick as desired, bulgur can be added. Meanwhile, chop the onion and parsley. Saute and onions are fried. The bottom is closed and the juice of 1 lemon is squeezed out of the pan. First the tomato paste mixture is added to the swollen lentil-bulgur mixture, then fresh onions and parsley are added and mixed. In the meantime, extra lemon may be stretched. Add to taste.
