Oven Dried Beans

It is an old and local tradition to dry the green beans, which are made in abundance in the Black Sea region, in large stone ovens, to prepare them for winter and to store them for cooking in winter.

Likewise, it is a common tradition in the Black Sea region to dry ripe corn in stone ovens and turn it into corn flour in mills. Corn flour and beans made in this way enter our kitchen as a wonderful flavor.

Oven Dried Beans Recipe

Materials:

1/2 kg baked beans
– 1 cup of dried beans
– 2 tablespoons of rice
-1 teaspoon of cracked corn
-1 handful of cornmeal
– 2 onions
– 1 teaspoon of tomato paste
– 2 spoonful butter
– 2 tablespoons of oil.

Preparation of: Oven dried beans are boiled, drained and chopped. On the other hand, dry beans and cracked beans are boiled separately and filtered. Butter is melted in a saucepan, onions and tomato paste are added and fried. Dry beans, split and oven dried beans are added and roasted for a while. Hot water is put on it. Add rice and salt. The meal is mixed and the corn flour is added, and the rice is cooked until it becomes longer.
